The functionality, appearance
and characteristics of the DF and DO units remain
unchanged except for one minor detail. The pin travel has been
increased while pin lengths remain unchanged. The resulting
increase in travel means that the dropbolt is no different
to the current version in the locked position. In the unlocked
position the effect of this increased travel translates to
the pin recessing in to the housing by extra 4mm.

| CPU005 X Finish Dropbolts |

Brushed Metallic finish (X finish) is a close visual match to brushed Stainless Steel hardware. The X finish is a slightly deeper grey in colour than stainless steel, but the angle of inclination to the light source alters the appearance significantly. Viewed when installed on a door the finish is very close.
