Internal Folding / E2
The Internal E2 system is ideal for folding doors in internal residential
or light commercial applications as room dividers. It also allows the opening
to be effectively acoustically sealed.
It enables up to 8 doors in both directions to be folded to the side of an opening and is suitable for Housing, Apartments, Cafes, Restaurants, Hotels and Shop Fronts.

PANEL SIZING
The Centor DoorCalc XL™ software will quickly calculate panel sizes for any opening and is available to download free of charge from www.centor.com.au.
SOUND
The excellent air sealing property from using sealed folding doors means that a Sound Transmission Class (STC) almost as good as glass or other panel material used in the doors up to STC 40 is possible. Doors using 6.38 laminated glass for example, depending on the floor sealing details, should achieve STC 34. Contact Centor Architectural for further information.
APPLICATION
The Internal E2™ system uses pivots which allow adjustment of the system horizontally and vertically of the whole system. The pivots provide compensation for out-of-square jambs with up to 10mm (3/8”) of adjustment.
ARCHITECTS AND SPECIFIERS
This system is suitable for metal and timber doors with a maximum
panel weight of 40kg, 4 each way. You can simply specify Centor
Internal E2, and leave detailed component selection to the builder.
