Why choose Centor blinds?

Centor blinds are the unobtrusive alternative to traditional window furnishings. They are perfect for large openings up to 7.6 m, and are robust and easy to use, opening and closing with just a fingertip. Centor’s blind is also very versatile. It can be combined in a single unit with an insect screen, and can even double as a projection screen. The blinds are also green, reflecting up to 95% of UV rays, keeping interiors cooler and making air-conditioning more efficient. The blind also improves an opening’s thermal performance by the equivalent of an extra layer of glazing.

Can I buy blinds from Centor?

Yes. Centor offers sales, service and installation for its screen and blind systems. You can also buy Centor blinds from select window and door manufacturers. To find your nearest Centor blind supplier, call us on 1300 CENTOR.

Does Centor install the blinds?

How tough are Centor blinds?

Centor has extensively tested the blinds to ensure they can endure real-life use. The blind system has withstood cycle testing to 400,000 operations, and been exposed to dust, mud, sand and salt spray. It has also stood up to impact testing with a 17 kg punching bag 100 times, and considerable pushing, poking and prodding to simulate real-life use.

What do I do if I have a problem with my blind?

Please call Centor or the company that installed your system.

Can I combine a screen and a blind in the one system?

Yes. Centor’s S1E Eco-screen is a two-in-one screen and blind system. A combined system can be installed in openings up to 3.9 m wide and 2.45 m tall. Visit the Screens page for more information.

Who should install Centor systems?

For best results, Centor recommends your blinds be installed by Centor or a qualified tradesperson who is familiar with the system. If buying your blind from a door manufacturer, they should be able to either offer an installation service or direct you to qualified tradespeople in your area. You can also find contractors in the phone book, online or in printed advertisements. You should consult the relevant government body to ensure the contractor you hire to install your blind is appropriately licensed.
